Hershey Track and Field Meet at Deerfield HS

This national program introduces children between the ages of 9 and 14 (as of 12/31/13) to physical fitness through basic track and field events, encouraging them to do their best. Implemented in 1975 as a playground track and field meet, the Hershey Youth Program has become the largest youth sports program of its kind in North America.

New for 2013 is a cooperative Spring Golf Outing between the Deerfield Park Foundation and the Warriors Wrestling Alumni and Friends organization –and all adults are invited! The Outing is Wednesday, May 22. A tee-off time of 1:00 p.m. is set so players can fit an 18-hole outing in an afternoon at the beautiful Deerfield Golf Club, 1201 Saunders, in Riverwoods. Golfers may come out at noon for complimentary range use and to check-in for the outing.
