Each week, up to 100 members of the PTC come to hear a variety of provocative authorities who present challenging programs on religion, art, music, politics, technology and world and natural history. Please join us on Tuesday mornings at 8:45 a.m. Guests of members are welcome!

A Model T Ford, Model A Ford, several early sports cars, and classics from the 1950s are expected to be on display. Each car owner will make a short presentation on the history and unique attributes of his or her vehicle.

Kick off your summer with our pool party at Mitchell Pool! Concessions available. Swim danc, or just hang out with your friends as the DJs get everyone involved and play your favorite music. Call 847-314-2555 in case of inclement weather.

First, enjoy dinner at Lawry’s the Prime Rib for an elegant dinner. Afterwards, take a short bus ride up Michigan Avenue to Chicago’s Fine Arts Building for a private studio concert with pianists, Saori Chiba and Michael McElvain. An after concert reception will follow prior to our departure home.

“Jazz Before Sunrise” Morning Breakfast features a delicious menu of favorite foods and the sweet, jazz stylings of The Rose Colella Trio. The Trio performs regularly at Chicago’s top jazz clubs and hotels. We’re sure you won’t want to miss this “deliciously musical” morning affair! Members and guests are welcome!

Singer, songwriter and musical entertainer, Joel is “a big kid” who’s been entertaining smaller kids and their parents for two decades . Come out and enjoy his fanciful songs.

Spoken Four combines top-notch, experienced performers in a band with pop club sensibilities. Spoken Four delivers a fun, high energy show.

This national program introduces children between the ages of 9 and 14 (as of 12/31/13) to physical fitness through basic track and field events, encouraging them to do their best. Implemented in 1975 as a playground track and field meet, the Hershey Youth Program has become the largest youth sports program of its kind in North America.

New for 2013 is a cooperative Spring Golf Outing between the Deerfield Park Foundation and the Warriors Wrestling Alumni and Friends organization –and all adults are invited! The Outing is Wednesday, May 22. A tee-off time of 1:00 p.m. is set so players can fit an 18-hole outing in an afternoon at the beautiful Deerfield Golf Club, 1201 Saunders, in Riverwoods. Golfers may come out at noon for complimentary range use and to check-in for the outing.

The PTC is excited to announce this year’s “Fiesta de La Casa!” which will be presented on Wednesday, May 22nd at 5:30 p.m. This grand event will feature a delicious buffet of authentic Mexican fare and the mariachi music of “Mexico Vivo!” Come and join us for a colorful evening of hot, fiesta fun!”
