Places in 5….Calling all high school student to come out and join the Deerfield Family Theater board in our first annual Tech Olympics on January 30. Registration is free but required. A Tech Olympics is an annual competition for high schools students to compete in as well as college age students at their annual conferences.

It will consist of a series of activities that are timed and/or judged for students to showcase their skills. Some of the different theater activities will include designing a light scene, designing the makeup for a character in a scene using crayons on a stage makeup practice sheet, designing the set for a script and designing a publicity flyer. After registration, you will be contacted to determine teams and be given a list of events.
