Program, Facility Operations and Mask Wearing Update

The May 13 recommendation by the CDC regarding mask wearing has generated a lot of inquiries into the park district’s operations and programs. Included in those inquiries are questions about the pools, summer camp operations and indoor facilities. We will be working with local, county and state agencies to gather more specific information relating to their respective guidelines. Many of the services, such as pools and camps, have specific guidelines that dictate capacity and operational parameters. Updates on programs and services will be provided as these guidelines are received and plans to expand services are developed.
