  • 1971 referendum passed to build a community center
  • 1973 Jewett Park Community Center was dedicated
  • 1990 conceptual plans created for renovation of Jewett Park Tot-Lot

  • 2011 Jewett Park Community Center was dedicated to 38 year retiring director, Linda Gryziecki

  • 2017 East entrance ramp installation and recognizing 50-year teacher by renaming the Maplewood Room to Elaine Silberman Art Room
  • 2019 recognition of 22-year director of recreation, Linda Anderson by renaming the Oak Room to the Linda Anderson Activity Room
  • 2021 park district converts the Treehouse Indoor Playground to the Elaine Silberman Art Studio
