History
- 1947 Community members contribute money for the purchase 12 ½ acres of Jewett Park land from the Jewett Family to preserve the land and create Deerfield’s first public park. Jewett Park Association was born.
- 1955 Fieldhouse built
- 1964 First Family Day celebration

- 1996 Local teens approached the board requesting a place to in-line skate and roller blade
- 1997 Vote to build a Skate Park in Jewett Park
