Members of the Village’s Sustainability Commission and Deerfield Park District invite you to join us for a guided educational tree walk! Village and Park District arborists will provide a guided tour throughout the Park. Learn about caring for trees including proper mulching techniques, tips for newly planted trees, structure pruning and proper tree protection. Understand the benefits trees provide including helping manage stormwater, carbon absorption and habitat for animals.
Located at Prairie Wolf Slough behind Deerfield High School, starting at the back parking lot
Note: Not all areas of the tour will be on a paved path or ADA accessible. The event is rain or shine.
