Lake County Changes to a Substantial Transmission County
Lake County has recently moved from a High Community Transmission Rate to a Substantial Rate. Our protocols listed below will remain in effect at this time.

For our residents’ health and safety, the Deerfield Park District will continue to implement a requirement for all people ages 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status to wear a mask while indoors at all district facilities. The following requirements for district facilities and services will be in effect until further notice:
Patty Turner Center: All persons ages 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status will be required to wear masks while inside the facility. Masks will also be required while in vehicles for organized Patty Turner Center trips and outings.
Deerfield Golf Club: All persons ages 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status will be required to wear masks while inside the facility. Restaurant related requirements and guidelines from the State of Illinois and Lake County will be followed for all indoor and outdoor dining. Single rider golf carts will be available for golfers who wish to ride alone.
Sachs Recreation Center: All persons ages 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status will be required to wear masks while inside the facility.
Jewett Park Community Center: All persons ages 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status will be required to wear masks while inside the facility. For programs that have an outdoor element, persons may remove their masks while outdoors.
Programs at Public Schools: All persons will follow the host agency requirements for masks at District 109 and District 113 facilities. Current requirements are all persons ages 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status are required to wear masks while indoors. Host Agency mask requirements while outdoors will be followed.
Preschool: All persons ages 2 years and older will be required to wear masks while inside the facility. Persons may remove their masks while outdoors.
Outdoor Facilities and Programs: Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear masks. Individuals not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
