Renovation construction started today with the removal of John Blumberg Park playground equipment by Kids Around the World staff. Kids Around the World is a non-profit organization that removes and transports playground equipment to be reused in poverty-stricken communities. Deerfield Park District has proudly been partnering with Kids Around the World since 2008 and each time a playground is removed, 80% of the play structures are able to be donated.
