A staff member at Mitchell Pool has reported having a confirmed/diagnosed case of COVID-19. Another staff member has started experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Based on the information reported and reviewed, we do not believe any member of the public had “close contact” with the individuals, as defined by the CDC. However, out of an abundance of caution, we wanted to provide you this notification. Please understand that because of applicable confidentiality laws we will not share the diagnosed individual’s name or other personally-identifying information.
We will be working with the CDC, IDPH and Lake County Health Department regarding guidance, as well as deep cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces and areas. The Mitchell Pool facility will remain closed until further notice.
