Deerspring Park Pickleball Court Project Options
The Deerfield Park District has received approval from the Village of Deerfield Plan Commission to appear before the Village Board of Trustees for approval of the installation of four dedicated pickleball courts at Deerspring Park. Based on local resident feedback, park district staff has developed three alternatives to the approved project for the public to review and comment on.
This input collection will be part of a regularly scheduled Park Board Workshop Meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jewett Park Community Center. The alternatives along with the approved project will be presented by staff to the Park Board. Staff will cover each alternative and note the possible benefits and drawbacks of each alternative. Following this presentation, time for public comment will be provided. Each person providing comments, in accordance with district policy, will be provided up to 3 minutes. After the public comment portion of the meeting is concluded, the Park Board will discuss the alternatives.
