Jewett Park Phase 1 Renovation Update

The Jewett Park Phase 1 Renovation Project has begun! After over a year’s worth of planning sessions, the renovation of the Skatepark, the 2 ball fields and the south end parking lot began in mid-July. Portions of the project area will incrementally be fenced off as the contractors work on sections of the project throughout late summer through the fall.

August 5 – The south portion of Jewett Park will close on August 5. The south parking lot of Jewett Park Community Center will also close on August 5 with the exception of the turn circle on the west side which will be used for drop off for extended camp through August 16. Access to the Jewett Park Community Center will be limited to the east and south entrances during construction.

August 17 – The turn circle on the west side of the building will close. Access to the Jewett Park Community Center will be limited to the east and south entrances during construction.

The majority of the project is anticipated to be completed this fall.
