Our soccer programs are among the most popular in the catalog; fortunately we have partnerships with some great organizations.

Deerfield AYSO

American Youth Soccer Organization is a nonprofit, all volunteer, national organization that promotes youth development through soccer. AYSO provides safe, fair and fun recreation for children between the ages of 4 and 19. There are no tryouts for AYSO as their philosophy is: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching and Good Sportsmanship.

Every year they put more than 2000 children in Deerfield on fields to participate in the world’s most popular sport. They offer both
Fall and Spring programs as well as coach and referee training.

Pegasus Soccer Club

20+ Years of Travel Soccer Excellence

Pegasus Soccer Club teams have had a long history of success, from league play to tournaments to cups at the state and regional levels. Today, Pegasus offers a competitive (a.k.a. travel) soccer experience for boys and girls (ages 8 to 18) and an Academy Program for boys and girls, ages 4 to 8. The mission of Pegasus Soccer Club is to develop young players to their fullest potential and to help them understand and enjoy the game of soccer. We endeavor to promote confidence and self esteem through emphasis on individual skill development, the spirit of teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive competitive atmosphere. Our approach is to focus on the development of each child as both a skilled soccer player and a good team player, while also striving to create positive life-long attitudes and values among our players.

For our competitive players, the soccer year has a fall season (September to November), winter session (January to March), and a spring season (April to June). Boys’ games are generally on Saturdays and girls’ games are on Sundays.

Drop-in Adult Soccer

Adults have a weekly opportunity to lace up their soccer shoes and shoot for the goal, work on new skills and get in some excellent cardiovascular exercise. Teams and games will be based on the number of people who show up each week.

The start time may vary based on AYSO or Pegasus games. Please call the sports hotline, 847-317-2555, each Wednesday night for updates. The cost is $3 per person.
