Located in the west “Korner” of the Sachs Recreation Center, Kids Korner is a safe, enjoyable and secure area for children. Caring and qualified staff supervise your children while you are visiting the Recreation Center.
Kids Korner is available for children between the ages of 3 months and 10 years. Children 7-10 years of age are encouraged to provide their own form of entertainment.
These general guidelines have been established to ensure that our young guests have a positive, fun experience while attending Kids Korner:
Children may attend Kids Korner for a maximum of 2 hours per visit.
- Parent must remain in the Recreation Center while their children are participating in Kids Korner.
- Diaper service is not provided; parents will be notified if a diaper needs to be changed.
Children will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis if space allows.
- Payment for Kids Korner visits are made at the front reception desk. The cost is $6 per visit per child. 20 hour punch cards are available for a discounted rate of $90 ($30 savings).
Members may purchase a $99/monthly unlimited baby sitting pass.
- Kids Korner punch cards are non-transferable and can only be used by the family that purchased the card.
First Serve Management Tennis Instruction
Family-friendly programming encourages a lifetime love of tennis and provides skilled instruction for the level of play that each student wishes to attain. Dana Joseph and Chris Cabanban lead an experienced staff; each coach is USPTA and/or USPTR certified. First Serve Management offers fun, effective tennis instruction for all ages.

The Sachs Recreation Center is the new home of North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics. The sport combines ballet, gymnastics, and creative/theatrical dance movements, while participants manipulate balls, hoops, clubs, or ribbons.
Preschool Rhythmic Gymnastics (Age: 3-4)
Gymnasts will fall in love with rhythmic gymnastics through creative dance, fun with apparatus, coordination and fl exibility exercises that are interwoven with music.
Beg Rhythmic Gymnastics (Age: 5-18)
If you like music, dance, tumbling, and creativity, you have to try rhythmic gymnastics. It combines the beauty and artistry of dance with the strength and power of tumbling. Gymnasts perform routines to music using hand apparatus such as ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes and clubs. In the beginner class, girls will learn the basic body positions, elementary apparatus handling and musicality.
