Fiesta de la Casa

The 2nd Annual Mexican-themed party “Fiesta De La Casa!” celebrates the colors, tastes and sounds of Cinco de Mayo at the Patty Turner Center (PTC), on Wednesday, May 22, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. The Fiesta features Spirits, Salsa, Senoras and Senores and includes an Authentic Buffet of Mexican Cuisine, prepared by Chef Jennifer Noone. The “LIVE” Mariachi Music of “Mexico Vivo!” adds to the energy of this upbeat affair designed for adults 50 years and up.

Classic Car Show in 2012

Patty Turner Center to Host Old Car Show

The Patty Turner Center Men's Club hosts an “Old Car Show,” beginning at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28th. Antique and classic automobiles will be on display as part of the Center's regular Tuesday morning Men's Club programming. A Model T Ford, Model A Ford, several early sports cars, and classics from the 1950s are expected to be on display. Each car owner will make a short presentation on the history and unique attributes of his or her vehicle.

“Jazz Before Sunrise” Breakfast and Entertainment

The Patty Turner Center (PTC) is proud to present its first-ever “Jazz Before Sunrise” morning breakfast, on Friday, June 28, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. This delicious affair will feature a menu of breakfast favorites exclusively prepared by Chef Jennifer Noone and the sweet, jazz stylings of the Rose Colella Trio. PTC Facility Manager David Shamrock says, “We are sure you will not want to miss this ‘deliciously musical’ morning event. Guests are welcome.”

In celebration of this year’s very successful Deerfield Park District Art Show, the Patty Turner center is delighted to present a secondary exhibit of oil and acrylic paintings from the students of Deerfield Park District art instructor, Elaine Silberman. This intimate and colorful exhibit, which encompasses a variety of themes, will be on display through the end of May.

“I Dwell in Possibility” a one-woman performance and luncheon at Patty Turner Center

“I Dwell in Possibility,” a one-woman performance by Betsey Means brings one of America’s greatest woman poets Emily Dickinson to life. The dramatization of Dickinson and insight into her world and works takes place on Tuesday, May 14 at the Patty Turner Center, 375 Elm Street in Deerfield.
