Donations of all shapes, sizes and types help Deerfield Park District and Deerfield Park Foundation thrive and prosper.

Grants-In-Aid (scholarships) / Be a Deer of the Park Foundation

As outlined in the Park Foundation’s Mission Statement, we help provide assistance for residents in serious financial need to participate in Deerfield Park District programs. Following are ways to participate. Many generous individuals provide funds for “Grants-In-Aid” by using the donate button below.

Everyone is welcome to make a donation to our Grants-in-Aid program and to “Be A Dear” of the Park Foundation. Special thanks to the Optimist Club of Deerfield for their continuing support and to the “Dears” listed on Recognition page.

Linda Gryziecki College Scholarships

Two $1,000 Linda Gryziecki College/Post-Secondary Institution scholarships, named to honor Deerfield Park District’s Executive Director Linda Gryziecki who retired in 2011 after 38 years of service, are offered each year – one to a graduating high school senior and one to a current college/post-secondary institution student.
