Please join us in January and February as licensed pharmacist, Jucimara Markoff, presents two very special programs for you. Programs are FREE and open to all! Members of the PTC are invited to join us for FREE, weekly, Thursday afternoon movies complete with hot popcorn and soft drinks! Movies are presented at the PTC on the large screen at 1:00 pm. “Come and join us!”

Calling all young entrepreneurs in grades K-8! Recycle old games, books, toys, stuffed animals, sports equipment, trading cards, etc.. (No bikes or baby equipment!) All merchandise should be in good condition and complete. The Deerfield Park District is not responsible for the condition of any merchandise sold at the “For Kids Only” Flea Market. Baked Goods will be allowed, but must be individually wrapped for sale. Kids will price and sell their merchandise to interested buyers.

Enjoy Casimir Pulaski Day on a trip with your friends to Hollywood Park in Crestwood. Hollywood Park has more than 150 sport and redemptive games plus miniature golf and the fun, interactive game Frogger. Pizza and soda will be provided for lunch.

The “Permanent Tee Time Application” deadline is MONDAY, MARCH 4. A Permanent Tee Time Lottery will be held at the Club on Wednesday, March 6, starting at 7:00 p.m. At least one representative from each foursome must be present at the drawing to indicate preferred starting time when application is drawn.

We partner with the Chicago Botanic Garden for a series of exclusive horticulture workshops. Join Horticulture Therapist Clare Johnson as we explore the world of Daffodils (Narcissus). This workshop teaches participants about these beautiful flowering plants, while providing all with a starting bulb garden.

Get ready for a little bit of everything when we visit Rinkside Sports in Gurnee. We’ll ice skate, play laser tag, and play a ton of video games. Pizza and soda will be served for lunch. Children may bring their own skates or we will provide them. Please bring extra money for tokens if children want to play more video games.

Get ready for a great day of Indoor Rock Climbing at Vertical Endeavors in Naperville. Vertical Endeavors is a premiere facility with courses for the novice climber and the advanced mountaineer. Be sure to eat lunch prior to this trip. You must sign a waiver required by Vertical Endeavors prior to trip.

First we’ll visit the Peggy Notebaert Museum and explore their many exhibits and butterfly room; then, we’re off to the Lincoln Park Zoo to view the animals. The zoo portion of this trip may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Please bring a lunch and a drink in a brown paper sack.
