Big Changes Are Coming to Registration

Big improvements are coming to program registration at Deerfield Park District!

In response to customer requests, we’re streamlining the activity registration process. Starting with the Spring/Summer 2013 seasons, regular (non-camp) programs will be first-come, first-served registration. That means no more waiting for lottery notifications – once you sign up and pay, you’re in the class. As always, park district residents will have priority over non-residents in all activities.

Here’s how it works for Spring/Summer 2013:

·         After the brochure is mailed, you’ll have a few days to review it and decide which classes interest you.

·         On Monday, February 18, registration for residents will open at 7:00 am for web, and 9:00 am at the Jewett Park registration office.

·         Non-residents must wait until Monday, March 4, at 7:00 am (online) and 9:00 am (in-person).

·         All registrations are in real time – once you receive your receipt, you’re in!

Due to high demand, we plan to continue using the lottery process for summer camps and Kinder Club.

Now is a great time to get signed up for online registration, and verify your household’s information. If you’ve never tried web registration, try entering your e-mail address on this page and retrieve your account information. If you’re new to the park district, you can sign up for an account online here (please allow 2 business days to receive your activation e-mail).

Once you’ve logged in, you can review and update your household’s information by clicking on the My Account menu, and choosing “Change Household Data” or “Change/Add Family Members”.
